With the credit crisis of 2007/2008, the first wave of the global economic tsunami hit the world. Within hours major financial institutions balanced on the verge of bankruptcy and almost all lending came to a standstill. With central banks essentially ‘papering over’ the 2007/2008 crisis, now in 2025, the world is again at the extremes of its credit levels even more as in 2008 and slowly but steadily a second wave, with more compressed force is heading at and threatening the financial world full of its paper-wealth-claims. Experiment after experiment with paper fiat money, gold has always turned out to be ’the last man standing’. Gold and silver always have been not only inflation hedges but certainly also a crisis hedge.
‘It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning’ – Henry Ford -1922
Central and commercial banks create money (paper and digital) from thin air. Every time they do this, which is necessary in an artificial monopoly money environment for the sole sake and purpose only to create the necessary money available for the interest payable, if not also for additional financing purposes, they steal purchasing power from the existing paper currency already in circulation. In a fair monetary model the profit from creating money from thin air should be paid back immediately to the public in terms of tax reductions, rather than rewards and big profit bonuses for the elite of the banking industry. With the accumulated power they got for free, the world has been corrupted to the bone.
